Alvino Bagni for Raymor or Aldo Londo for Bitossi? Marks on vintage Italian pottery can often be tricky to decipher, importers of Italian pottery often used stickers to identify their products, and because the objects were used, the stickers are often missing. This piece is commonly attributed to Londi and called "Patchwork" but the signature is similar to known works by Bagni. Unless an object is documented in literature or has an original label, I do not fully trust any attribution mentioned online.

Actual response from someone when they asked how much our services cost. Let me tell you all the truth. Our furniture is price competitive with the big box stores like Ashley or Raymor and Flannigan, but we are definitely more expensive than the lowest priced items on amazon and wayfair. Yes, it is less expensive IN THE SHORT TERM to buy from these online retailers. Their products are cheap and are made in factories abroad. But did you know that the average lifespan of a piece of wayfair furniture is 3 to 5 years? This “fast furniture” is generally not made of wood and will only last one to two moves. These poorly made products are a big part of the reason why 12.2 million tons of furniture goes into landfills each year in the US. Buying locally refinished wood products not only saves money in the long term, but it also has a lower environmental footprint because it’s not shipped across the globe and doesn’t involve generating new materials to produce. Just a reminder that when you buy from big retailers, your dollars leave the local economy and go right to big corporations. When you spend with local businesses, your money continues to circulate locally.
