These girls completely changed my Depot experience.
Somewhere between getting yelled at, surviving inspections, running on no sleep and energy drinks and questioning every life decision that brought us here… we somehow became a family.
They reminded me that I was never alone, even on the days I felt like I couldn’t do one more push-up, one more run, or hear « one more time » ever again.

🚔 100 km/h is too fast when someone is working just metres away.
When an RCMP officer was conducting a traffic stop on Hwy. 105 between #PortHawkesbury and #Waycobah recently several vehicles passed their stopped police car at speeds of 100 km/h or more.
When you approach a stopped emergency vehicle with its flashing lights activated:
➡️ Slow to 60 km/h or the posted speed limit if it’s lower.
➡️ Move over to a lane farther away when another lane is available and it’s safe to do so.
The law helps protect people working roadside, including:
🚓 Police
🚑 Paramedics
🚒 Firefighters and fire chiefs/deputy chiefs
🌲 Natural Resources personnel
🛡️ Conservation officers
🚛 Vehicle transportation inspectors
⚖️ Public safety officers, including sheriffs and bridge patrol officers
🪝 Tow truck operators at a fire or collision scene or assisting a vehicle
And there are consequences for not doing it: fines for failing to slow down or move over start at more than $350, and fines for speeding past a stopped emergency vehicle are doubled.
Whether it’s a police officer, firefighter, paramedic, tow operator or another roadside responder, they all deserve room to work safely.

I’ve been exposed to policing and police culture my entire life (Dad was a Cop, my parents had 5 boys, 4 of us became Cops). I’m very well aware of current challenges facing police services across the country, and I say this with confidence - it’s still a great career option and there’s never been a better time to join.

پلیس RCMP در ریچموند، بریتیش کلمبیا، یک موتورسوار را وسط خیابان متوقف کرد و به دلیل خم بودن پلاک، کلید موتور را گرفت.
سپس برای اندازهگیری صدای اگزوز، تست دسیبل انجام شد؛ اما طبق قوانین، دستگاه باید حدود ۴ تا ۵ فوت از اگزوز فاصله داشته باشد و موتورسوار میگوید هنگام توقف از این موضوع اطلاع نداشته است.

🔵این آقا من رو هم به خاطر صدای بلند اگزوز موستانگ GT من در سوری جریمه کرد. مجبور شدم ماشین رو برای بازرسی کامل به فورد ببرم و بیش از هزار دلار هزینه کردم. واقعاً دردسر بزرگی بود.
