📚🌊 Éxito total en la presentación del primer libro de Miguel Félix Chicón, en el marco de Experiencia @gacetanautica
Ayer, miércoles 10 de diciembre, el Real Club Náutico de Palma acogió la presentación del primer libro de Miguel Félix Chicón Rodríguez (Tánger, 1960), marino mercante e histórico jefe de Salvamento Marítimo en Baleares durante 26 años. La presentación fue un éxito rotundo, con más de 150 asistentes que llenaron la Sala Magna del club.
El acto contó con la participación de Elena Pipó, directora de Gaceta Náutica; Mariona Forteza, coordinadora de edición ; y Diego Colón de Carvajal, CEO de Astilleros de Mallorca, quien mantuvo una cercana y enriquecedora conversación sobre la mar con el autor. También hubo un turno de preguntas en el que el público —amigos, socios del Club, empresarios y destacadas figuras del sector náutico— pudo dialogar directamente con Chicón.
📖 La obra, titulada Navegar es necesario, publicada por Mallorca Press con la colaboración de Astilleros de Mallorca, reúne 50 artículos sobre curiosidades náuticas e historia marítima previamente publicados en la contraportada de Gaceta Náutica, donde Chicón escribe desde hace cinco años. El autor ofrece una mirada accesible al mundo de la mar, combinando episodios históricos con vivencias de la vida a bordo, con el objetivo de acercar al lector “la historia menos conocida” del mar.
🌊 Este título es el primero editado por Mallorca Press, empresa editora de Gaceta Náutica. Un proyecto liderado por el periodista José Luis Miró con el objetivo de impulsar obras con rigor y sabor a mar.
