This time last year with my AB’s fam… (memories from my iPhone)
After a big year working with the AB’s and a massive campaign at the World Cup, it was time for me to move back to Australia. Funny, I haven’t been back to NZ since 😭 (I’ll be back soon)
This is the first time I’ve really processed my experience with the @allblacks and @nzrugbyofficial , and man, what a ride!
We were part of the launch for @nzrugbyofficial app NZR+, creating over 15 short films. Touring with the team, pulling all-nighters, and going deep in the trenches with my brothers @franz.liu and @mattmanukia —I couldn’t be more grateful for these experiences.
The bond and brotherhood I was fortunate to be a part of is something I’ll cherish for the rest of my life.
Nothing but love for my brothers and my AB’s family, forever cheering from this side!

Alongside my colleagues Assoc Housing Minister Willie Jackson and Manurewa MP Arena Williams we got to tour some of the new houses built by this government in Manurewa. Mana whenua were on hand to welcome us all there and it was a pleasure to meet with the Project Managers, tradies and Kainga Ora. Where there was once four public houses there are now 19 and the facilities are absolutely amazing. These houses will be filled in approximately one months time and the houses are warm and dry for them to enjoy.
When I first came in to parliament in 2014 we were clear that the biggest challenge for our whānau in Tāmaki Makaurau was housing. This continued to be the priority when we became government and I am proud to say many new homes have been built since 2017. We have more work to do and we will continue to advocate for our beautiful city.
There is only one way out of a housing crisis. WE MUST BUILD OUR WAY OUT! 😎🏡🏠 #wharehou #housingourpeople #manurewa #rewahard #kaupapawhare #whaikaingawhaioranga
