As Creative Director Jonathan Anderson‘s first collection since joining the brand, this fashion show has become one of the most anticipated highlights of Paris Fashion Week. Inspired by the velvet halls of Berlin’s Gemäldegalerie, the brand created a special room where historical styles were deconstructed. From two paintings by Jean Siméon Chardin (1699-1779) hanging on the walls to the museum’s public spaces, the words “nature”, “art”, and “everyday” became descriptors for this season‘s collection. Jonathan Anderson merged contemporary dressing art and philosophy with nature and the brand’s historical archives, incorporating classic elements such as Irish Donegal tweed, parade ties, Bar jackets, and Diorette pendants featuring Rococo art to interpret and explore elusive, hard-to-define styles. The classic Dior Book Tote was reimagined with covers of literary masterpieces, further showcasing Jonathan‘s playful and interesting design style. A Asamkirche não foi construída para turismo, fama ou ostentação pública. Os irmãos Cosmas Damian Asam e Egid Quirin Asam idealizaram esse templo como um espaço privado de oração, contemplação e arte sacra. Mas a beleza era tão extraordinária que o povo de Munique exigiu acesso à igreja. E basta entrar para entender o motivo. Cada detalhe parece querer elevar os olhos da alma para o Céu: ouro, luz, silêncio, anjos, altares e símbolos que recordam a eternidade, a vida, a morte e a glória de Deus. Our inspiration for the recent event was a conscious departure from industry trends. Instead, we delved into timeless themes Old Hollywood Glam and the opulence of the Palace of Versailles. The inspiration for this 50th birthday event for our client #AishaAchimugu emerged during a holiday in Paris, where I visited the awe-inspiring Palace of Versailles. The richness of rococo art and the detailed interior left an indelible mark, sparking the idea for this birthday celebration. Our client’s reputation for class, status, and elegance sealed the idea. The guests were welcomed into a holding area with an open bar with international mixologist entertainers, canapes and lush entertainment. The main event hall transported guests to Paris, enveloped in the grace and charm of the Palace of Versailles. The main hall of the ICC, spanning over 468 ft, was wrapped and branded from top to bottom and end to end in breathtaking visuals, mirroring the regal aesthetics of the Palace of Versailles, flushing with the most exquisite wall lighting to truly create an authentic feel of true luxury. The vision for this event was to create something truly extraordinary that would resonate profoundly with every guest. We can boldly say that the feedback has surpassed our expectations. Mozart's characteristic innocent smile seems to unravel the chains of stubborn hearts. When I listen to this piece, I imagine François Boucher's masterpiece "The Swing." Boucher, representing the light and sweet Rococo art, was a French painter from 1732 to 1806. Though primarily associated with architecture and decorative painting, the characteristics of Rococo were also incorporated into music, where composers like Couperin, Rameau, and Scarlatti competed to create exquisite beauty. Even amid the flourishing period of Rococo art, Mozart's talent stood out. While he's often thought of as a composer who crafted elegant and refined music by adopting the Rococo style, his charm goes beyond that. Mozart's true essence lies in the solitary soul hidden behind his elegant emotions, and the tears concealed beneath his smile. His music shines with messages that deeply resonate with the heart.
