When your (award-winning!) chocolatier friend calls you asking for help... you have to answer! My friend Paula at Fusion Luxury Artisan Chocolate in Ilkley asked me earlier this week if I could post me one of her incredible Easter eggs to do a final check that the new packaging works out in the wild. With no prompt from her whatsoever, I have decided to do this review of her gorgeous Pecan and Honeycomb filled Easter Egg (£17.50, available in store or now... by post!). And oh my goodness it is incredible! It's artistic, beautiful, the cocoa scent is rich and exciting and the filled part is just unreal! If, like me, you're at a point in life where you are aiming for quality over quantity (tho tbh I could eat a lot of Paula's chocolates!), or you want to really Wow someone this Easter... there's really only one place to go!
