Happy Easter! Here’s some creepy stop motion project I made maybe about 20 years ago. Very much Inspired by Brothers Quay and TOOL videos and David Lynch. 🐇 . #rabbit #easter #runrabbitrun #stopmotion
🎶 ECHO VIBES — “Run, Rabbit, Run (Parody Remix)” This Echo Vibes original takes the old-school classic “Run, Rabbit, Run” and turns it into a modern parody with meaning. To understand why we use the chorus in mockery, you have to know what the original song represented. 🐇 THE ORIGINAL MEANING “Run, Rabbit, Run” was originally written in the early 1940s. On the surface it sounded playful, but it had a deeper wartime symbolism: • The rabbit represented someone being hunted. • The chant represented pressure, fear, and the idea of being chased with no power to fight back. • It reinforced the dynamic of predator vs. prey — those who run, and those who control the outcome. It was a song where the rabbit never wins. The rabbit only runs. 🪓 WHY OUR VERSION IS MOCKERY Echo Vibes repeats that chorus intentionally — but in mockery of the original dynamic. We are mocking the idea that we are supposed to run. We are mocking the mindset that anyone has power over us. We are mocking the narrative where we are expected to stay silent, small, or afraid. By repeating the chorus at the beginning, we’re saying: “You thought we were the rabbit… but watch what happens next.” 🔥 THE REVERSAL — THE TABLES TURN Then the Echo Vibes punchline drops: “Run, run… it ain’t no fun when the rabbit gets the gun.” This is the moment the prey becomes the one in control. The hunted stops running. The fear flips. The power returns to the one who was underestimated. But here’s the deeper message: ✨ WE CHOOSE PEACE, EVEN WITH POWER IN OUR HANDS Echo Vibes doesn’t glorify chaos. We don’t celebrate revenge. We don’t take satisfaction in switching roles just to create more harm. Because real strength is restraint. Real strength is having the ability to bring chaos — and choosing peace anyway. That’s why the closing line brings everything back to balance: “So we keep the peace and continue to have fun — Echo Vibes until we’re done.” It’s mockery of the old system… but mastery of our own energy. It’s knowing we could break the cycle… and choosing to end it with peace, creativity, and joy. That is the true spirit of Echo Vibes.
Part 2: these songs aren’t just scary — they get under your skin in the most haunting way. “Run, Rabbit, Run” and “Boots” hit you with that eerie, old-fashioned creepiness, while “Untrust Us” brings a hypnotic, unsettling energy you can’t shake off. “O Superman” is the kind of track that feels calm but deeply unnerving, and “Tonight You Belong to Me” turns something sweet into something almost haunting. A collection of songs that stay with you long after they stop playing… the kind that make the room feel just a little too quiet. 👻🎵 #ScarySongs #CreepyTunes #HauntingMusic #HorrorVibes #UnsettlingSounds

Run rabbit run is Netflix’s newest horror thriller movie, about a girl having memories of another life, it has a good concept and a twist at the end but sadly the outcome wasn’t that great. #runrabbitrun #netflix #film #movie #horror
1. “Run, Rabbit, Run” – Flanagan and Allen Originally a World War II-era tune, it sounds playful on the surface. But when slowed down or placed in horror contexts, its repetition feels ominous. The cheerful delivery paired with dark undertones creates psychological discomfort. 2. “Boots” – The Residents This cover turns a simple country song into something disturbing through strained, almost unhinged vocal delivery. The repetition becomes hypnotic and unsettling. 3. “Untrust Us” – Crystal Castles The warped vocal sampling and icy production create emotional detachment. It feels distant and cold, which taps into isolation-based fear. 4. “O Superman” – Laurie Anderson Built almost entirely on vocoder loops and minimal instrumentation, the robotic repetition creates a sterile, uncanny atmosphere that feels dystopian. 5. “Tonight You Belong To Me” – Patience and Prudence Soft, innocent harmonies make this one haunting when recontextualized. The sweetness feels almost too pure, which horror culture has turned into something eerie. 6. “Hoist the Colours” – Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End This sea shanty feels ancient and ritualistic. The minor key progression and group chanting create a sense of doom and inevitability. 7. “Daisy Bell” – Daisy Bell Famous for being one of the first songs sung by a computer and later featured in 2001: A Space Odyssey, its mechanical delivery turned it into a symbol of artificial intelligence gone wrong. 8. “Tiptoe Through the Tulips” – Tiny Tim The exaggerated falsetto feels unnatural. When paired with horror imagery, the contrast between joyful lyrics and eerie tone creates deep cognitive dissonance. 9. “Cat’s in the Cradle” – Harry Chapin Not sonically scary, but emotionally devastating. The theme of regret and lost time creates existential dread rather than horror. 10. “The Cigarette Duet” – Princess Chelsea The calm, almost childlike back-and-forth about self-destruction creates quiet unease. It feels casual about something heavy, which makes it unsettling. Which one disturbed you the most?
