Honestly, this thing looks more like a flying car than a glider — not the aerodynamically clean shape you’d expect from a proper sailplane. But the @pipistrelaircraft Taurus Electro is a genuinely interesting ultralight: a side-by-side two-seater with an electric self-launch system.
Got to test-fly it together with igor.volkov.
Fun fact: I’m not even allowed to fly the Taurus solo because my license doesn’t cover this category.

Si è conclusa un'altra straordinaria esperienza all'Alpe Adria Segelflug Cup di Feldkirchen, in Austria.
Desidero ringraziare di cuore i miei sponsor, AVRO e CAT Automobili, che per il secondo anno consecutivo hanno reso possibile la mia partecipazione a questa prestigiosa competizione internazionale.
Rispetto al 2025, quando avevo concluso al 13° posto su 19 partecipanti, quest'anno sono riuscito a conquistare un bellissimo 5° posto su 17 piloti, un risultato che mi rende particolarmente orgoglioso e che premia il lavoro, l'esperienza e la passione accumulati in questi anni.
Grande soddisfazione anche per il 2° posto di giornata, ottenuto grazie a una gara pulita, senza errori, in cui tutto ha funzionato alla perfezione.
L'Alpe Adria è una delle competizioni più affascinanti del panorama europeo, con la partecipazione di piloti provenienti da Austria, Svizzera, Polonia, Slovenia, Italia e Germania. Confrontarsi e competere con atleti di questo livello è sempre emozionante e rappresenta una continua occasione di crescita.
