Uscito nel 1984, il capolavoro di Miloš Forman, Amadeus, ci regala una delle rivalità più celebri della storia del cinema. In questa scena iconica, un anziano Antonio Salieri si rende conto della sua più tragica maledizione: le sue opere sono state dimenticate dal mondo, mentre la musica del suo odiato nemico, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, è diventata immortale. La frustrazione palpabile sul volto di F. Murray Abraham quando il prete riconosce con entusiasmo la celebre melodia (Eine kleine Nachtmusik), scambiandola per una sua composizione, è pura arte recitativa. Una curiosità affascinante dietro questa magistrale interpretazione (che gli valse il Premio Oscar come Miglior Attore Protagonista) è che F.
