This week’s instalment of the Project of the Week series features an understated luxury hotel lobby design by 2025 SBID Awards Finalist, @iqosa A lobby that feels less like a public space — and more like the first chapter of home. Designed by IQOSA for THE ONE in Kyiv, this interior balances timeless materials with thoughtful zoning and sculptural light. Travertine, soft contours, and tactile furnishings create an atmosphere of quiet confidence. No excess — only purpose. A refined space that welcomes, grounds, and leaves a lasting impression without trying too hard. A huge thank you to the wonderful @technogym team for inviting me to join the conversation on wellness at home, as part of the @the.sbid Industry Day line-up. It was such a pleasure to sit on the panel with @hamilford_design and @laurahammett.interiors, guided so brilliantly by the fabulous @kristian_bgn. I always feel grateful for opportunities like this…to give back to an industry I truly love, share experiences, and exchange advice with such talented colleagues. Wellness is a deeply personal subject, and being able to discuss how we can bring it into our homes through thoughtful design is something I’m genuinely passionate about. #interiordesign #luxuryinteriors #sbid #industryday

✨ September in Review ✨ September kept us busy at Hamilford Design — from speaking at @samuelheathofficial and @chaseerwinfabrics during FOCUS at @designcentrech , to joining the @the.sbid Industry Day with @technogym, as well as a panel hosted by @pip.rich at @BertFrank. We were honoured to receive both a @homesandgardensofficial Award as well as an @sbidawards , alongside some fantastic press coverage in titles such as @livingetcofficial the @ft_houseandhome and more. All while completing projects, heading out on site visits and, of course, celebrating 15 years of Hamilford Design with our wonderful clients, collaborators and friends 🥂 A month to remember — and an exciting foundation for what’s next. #HamilfordDesign #InteriorDesign #LondonDesign #LuxuryInteriors #FOCUS2025 #ChelseaDesignCentre #SBID #BertFrank #HomesAndGardens #15Years #DesignCommunity #BritishDesign #DesignStudio

Our Home by the Sea project, located in the beautiful St Finians Bay, is truly making waves on the awards circuit this year. We are delighted to have been selected alongside 2 other finalists for the prestigious SBID awards. As a boutique interior firm, having the opportunity to create spaces like our St Finians Bay project is a true privilege, and I remind myself of that every day. To be nominated and recognised for this work is a dream come true. Moments like this allow me to sit back and reflect on how it all started and how far Style So Simple has come. Every single vote, nomination, and mention means the world to us. If you love our work, or even better, remember my starting journey in my little Cork apartment back in 2019, please take a moment to vote via the link in the bio xxx All the fabulous irish suppliers and brilliant trades are tagged xx Thank you so much xx #stylesosimple #irishdesign #sbidawards #sbid

This week’s instalment of the Project of the Week series features an elegant show flat design by 2025 SBID Awards Finalist, @childesign CHIL Interior Design was commissioned to design the Latitude on Cambie Presentation Centre in Vancouver. The concept balances boldness with refinement, using rich materiality and sculptural elements to create an immersive experience for potential homeowners. Key features include a dramatic marble reception desk and a ribbon-like ceiling installation that introduces softness and movement to the linear space. Carefully zoned layouts, layered textures, and two contrasting model suites showcase the development’s design versatility. More than just a sales environment, the centre was envisioned as a sensory journey—emotive, elegant, and highly functional—capturing the spirit of contemporary West Coast living.
