PS: If you’re not comfortable in front of the camera, first things first, accept that you will feel cringe. And if you are? Who cares! Seriously. Whether you’re a business, a creator, or an influencer, it’s your livelihood, and you need to market yourself. Tips to make it easier: Write your script first, in your own voice. ChatGPT can help you draft it if needed. This step takes about 10 minutes. Film yourself line by line, you don’t have to memorize the whole script! Sal keeps her laptop open with the script next to her camera; you can do the same. This usually takes 5–10 minutes. Here are some fill-in-the-blank hooks you can steal this week: “Nobody talks about this when it comes to ______.” “If I had to start over in ______, this is what I’d do first.” “You’re probably doing this wrong with ______.” “The real reason your ______ isn’t working.” “I tried ______ for 30 days and here’s what actually happened.” Steal these. Some might not include posting in their offer. ㅤ But I see it like this: ㅤ I help founders put out consistent content by interviewing them. Then creating posts from the interview clips. ㅤ Research > Interview > Clips > Posts > Analyze > Repeat. ㅤ If that content doesn't get posted, that cycle isn't complete. ㅤ I can't promise a client a result if I don't control the process.
