With its apocalyptic cathedral artwork and molten logo, Scuzz sits comfortably alongside the monolithic haze of Electric Wizard and the raw hostility of Eyehategod, rooted in sludge, stoner doom, and occult-tinged metal. We’re gonna make it💋 It often really is the littlest things that can make us feel better. Or at least regain some capacity for the bigger things. It’s easy in these hermit n’ rest months to let the lines blur a little about what’s ’necessary’ or not when it comes to our personal care routines. Or maybe it’s just me and my mental health is showing. Either way, whenever I have a moment of remembering about how to find relief I feel inclined to share. Sending love from my gross little soul to yours😘

🌠 NEW ARTIST SPOTLIGHT ~ ZACK KEIM 🌠 @zackkeim has released “Battery Lane” out now via @supersportrecords , the label of @caamp’s @evanwestfall The album is a bright, folk-driven romp of earworm expertise and retro flair! Even at his most forlorn moments, Keim’s music is brightened by an inherent optimistic spirit. Steeped in yearning melodies, deceptively intricate arrangements, and songs that reckon with youthful heartbreak and self-discovery, “Battery Lane” establishes Keim as a preternaturally gifted songwriter whose work bridges the gap between garage-rock scuzz and kaleidoscopic indie-folk reveries. Named after the street Zack lived on in the D.C. area, the album represents the long-gestating result of that collaboration Zack Keim can find inspiration nearly anywhere.
