Here’s your itinerary for a day of thrifting in Sechelt! Last week I showed you the thrift stores in Gibsons, today we’re just up the road in Sechelt. Part of what makes it such a great thrifting destination is the fact that there are a half-a-dozen thrift and consignment stores crammed into a couple of blocks right in the downtown core. It makes for a great thrift-shop-hop! 😁 1️⃣ @schealthcareauxiliary great volunteers, great selection, and you can’t beat the prices here. They often have half price and $1 sales, so this is a place I try to hit up every time I’m in Sechelt. 2️⃣ @thecastawayvintage sells consignment and vintage finds, so the prices here will be a bit higher, but the quality is also very nice. They have lots of mid-century pieces here, if you’re into that kind of thing, and I am. 3️⃣ @sathriftstore is right across the street from the Sunshine Coast Auxiliary Thrift store. I’ve been to A LOT of Sally Anns and this one feels very different than most I’ve been to. However, I found a ton of great stuff here. There are lots of little bits and bobs to explore in this store. 4️⃣ @twistedconsignment is right next door to the Sally Ann; both new and consignment clothing and shoes here. 5️⃣ Just down the street you’ll find @prettynattyduds , yet another consignment store. They sell women’s clothing here, it’s a lovely location, bright and open, feels like a boutique. 6️⃣ Right beside Pretty Natty Duds, you’ll find @redecorsechelt , which was my favourite new discovery this trip. I’m obsessed with vintage and mid-century and this place was packed with home decor and furniture and art from that era. I could’ve spent all day in here. 7️⃣ Finally, after a long, hard day of thrifting, you deserve an ice cream! Hit up @e.b.s_icecreamshop which is at the end of the street with all the thrift stores.
