🌱 Challenge accepted! Today we officially started our big “Plastic Cleanup Mission” 💪 Turns out the old irrigation system from the previous orange plantation left us a not-so-little surprise… I had NO idea there was THIS much plastic buried in our soil! 😱 We’ve picked some up before, but when we started the earthwork, we realized we’re nowhere near done. Before we can put any fertilizers back into the ground, every single piece has to come out. So today my husband and I spent 5 straight hours digging and hauling — and we only cleared ONE QUARTER of the field! I walked 6.5 miles and burned 581 calories… and honestly? I loved every second of it. There’s something magical about real physical work in the fresh air — my head has never felt clearer 🧠✨ We’re guessing it’ll take at least 4 more days, but right now it feels like the coolest adventure: saving our land from plastic, one bucket at a time 🌍# #SustainableLiving #PlasticFree #FarmLife #EcoChallenge
