800-lb carcass × $7/lb = $5,600 per animal.
That same animal sold live at commodity pricing can bring far less, and you don’t control the price.
👍Yes, direct sales still include processing, feed, and operating costs.
🤔But the key difference is this:
You’re selling a finished product — not just weight.
You control the price.
You build your own customer base.
You keep more value on the ranch and make sure you make a profit that pays the bills.
💢And with the right system in place, ranchers are generating $10K–$50K months in revenue selling beef direct — not because they have massive herds, but because they have consistent buyers.
Customers WANT to buy from ranchers.👨🌾
They want local food.
They want transparency.
They want to know who raised it.
You already have the product.

‼️ FARMERS ‼️
The most expensive phrase in farming is:
“Because that’s how we’ve always done it.”
Just because it’s familiar…
❌ doesn’t mean it works
❌ doesn’t mean it’s profitable
❌ and it doesn’t mean you deserve to struggle
Selling beef successfully comes down to this:
👉 Knowing who your ideal customer is
👉 Speaking directly to them
👉 Targeting them with intention
When you do that:
✅ You get the price your beef deserves
✅ They get a product they’re excited to buy
⛔️ No wasting money on ads
⛔️ No spammy email blasts
⛔️ No awkward cold outreach
Just a proven, guaranteed 5-step system to selling beef direct-to-consumer — profitably.

Traditional market keeps farmers broke.
Direct-to-consumer sales changes everything 👇
When you sell through the commodity system, you’re paid on live weight — and you accept whatever price the market gives you.
But when you sell direct…
You sell on hanging weight (carcass weight) — the actual product customers receive.
👉 Live animal: paid as raw commodity
👉 Hanging weight: sold as premium food
Example:
A finished animal ~1,500 lbs live weight
≈ 900 lbs hanging weight
Sold direct at $7.25/lb hanging weight:
900 lbs × $7.25 = $6,525 per animal
And premium cuts or boxes can increase that value even more.
This is why producers often profit 3X–5X more per head selling direct.
Not because they suddenly got more land…
Not because they bought more cattle…
Because they stopped selling like traditional producers.
Customers skip the grocery store and go straight to the source — YOU.
They want transparency.
They want quality.
They want to know who raised their food.
And they’re willing to pay for it.
Whether you want to:
📦 Ship beef nationwide
🚚 Offer local pickup or delivery
💰 Learn how to price by hanging weight
📣 Attract customers instead of chasing buyers
📅 Sell out before harvest
There’s a proven way to do it.
Ranchers across the country are building real businesses from their herds — some hitting $10K–$50K months without paid ads.

There’s a reason bulk beef pricing can feel confusing.
And we'll be honest… we get why some ranchers do it.
If you can advertise a lower price, it gets attention.
It brings people in.
And in a world where costs have gone up across the board, feed, fuel, land, everything - that can be tempting.
We’ve felt that pressure too.
But at some point, it starts to feel like you’re relying on people not fully understanding what they’re buying.
And that’s not how we want to do this.
We’d rather be clear upfront, even if it doesn’t look like the cheapest option at first glance.
Because trust matters more than a number on a post.

For years I believed the only way to grow ranch income was to run more cows.
Then I learned something that changed everything.
The ranchers making the most money per animal are not always the biggest operations. They are the ones who learned how to sell direct.
💥Here is the simple 5 step system ranchers are using right now to Generate $10k-$50k in one month. All by selling online.
Step 1. Social media that actually brings buyers.
You do not need to be a tech expert. You just need to show your cattle, your land, your process, and your story. People buy from ranchers they trust. Post consistently and educate consumers about buying bulk beef.
Step 2. A landing page that collects emails.
Most people are not ready to buy the first time they see you. That is normal. A simple page where people can learn about your beef and leave their email allows you to stay in touch with them until they are ready.
Step 3. Email marketing that builds demand.
Email is where sales actually happen. Share butcher dates, availability, and farm stories. When beef becomes available your list already knows you.
Step 4. A simple website that answers questions.
Consumers want clarity. Where is the ranch. How are the cattle raised. What cuts come in a quarter or half. When people can easily find these answers they feel confident placing an order.
Step 5. An online store that makes buying simple.
Make it easy for people to reserve a quarter, half, or bundle. The easier the buying process the faster beef sells out.
This is how ranchers are selling out of beef without relying on the commodity market.
Let’s say a finished animal brings around $3,800 at the sale barn.
Now look at the same animal sold direct-to-consumer.
Average hanging weight: about 800 lbs.
If you sell your beef direct at:
$6/lb → $4,800 per animal
$7/lb → $5,600 per animal
$8/lb → $6,400 per animal
$9/lb → $7,200 per animal
Of course you still calculate your processing fees, feed costs, and operating expenses into your pricing.
You control the price.
You need a system.
If you want to see the free training that breaks this down step by step comment BEEF and I will send it to you.
It’s about margin.
Let’s use hot hanging carcass weight.
Say your finished steer hangs at 800 lbs.
That’s a very realistic number.
If you sell based on hanging weight at $6 to $9 per pound direct to consumer:
800 lbs × $6 = $4,800 per animal
800 lbs × $7 = $5,600 per animal
800 lbs × $8 = $6,400 per animal
Now multiply that by 10 head:
10 animals × $4,800 to $6,400
= $48,000 to $64,000 gross revenue
And that’s not luxury pricing.
That’s normal direct pricing in most markets.
Commodity model: You get paid once on live weight and take whatever the board says.
Direct model: You price off hot hanging weight.
You control the number.
You capture retail margin.
It’s about maximizing revenue per head.
Ten head structured correctly can outproduce what most ranchers think is possible.

If you are a farmer or rancher selling direct to consumer you NEED to read this.
And comment FREE for my free training.
Selling direct you need to have a handle on your pricing. If you are selling your beef for less than $6/lb you are LOSING MONEY and your customers are literally stealing from you! Walmart is $7.97/lb for ground.
If you say “you can’t find customers” you aren’t marketing or targeting.
If you tell me “I live in a poor socioeconomic area and people can’t afford to pay more” go and check the prices in a grocery store AND stop looking in your local town…you need to look 4-6hrs away
If you tell me “but I don’t want to/can’t ship” you don’t have to. We do 20hd a month as beef, are sold out till May and we don’t ship.
