Robyn Hitchcock and Nick Lowe, despite both being silver foxes, are NOT the same person! When unsure look for the traffic cone (that’s Robyn) Via @robynhitchcockofficial
The crowd went wild last night as Deanna Raybourn -- who better? -- brought us Kills Well with Others, the killer sequel to Killers of a Certain Age. The quartet of silver foxes start their new mission aboard the Queen Mary 2 and carry on to Venice and Sardinia. Don't miss out on either fabulous ride. We still have autographed copies and catch the fun on our FB or YT channels at any time @deannaraybourn #deannaraybourn #killswellwithothers #killersofacertainage #seniorassassins #newthriller #signedcopiesavailable #authortalk #booktour @berkleypub @poisonedpenbookstore #independentbookstore #weshipworldwide #poisonedpenbookstore #poisonedpenyoutube #poisonedpenfacebook
We have lost sight of what true beauty really is. The entire feminine collective is releasing such deep grief/shame around aging. Something so beautiful that happens to every single one of us. Men get called silver foxes….and we hear ‘oh she’s getting wrinkles…she’s gone grey, she’s lost herself”. A woman going through the cycles of life transitionh into young an adult, to wife, to mother, to menopause, to grandmother and elder is the gift of life. And be in resistance with the evolution of God is block love and God from fully permeating our entire being. Sister…no matter what age you are. You are beautiful as you are without any need to manipulate or change your face or body. And I say this not to trigger but the deepest cavern of my heart. You are seen and witnessed by the collective masculine though what you go through.🌹❤️‍🔥🙏 But it’s time burn those old programs to the fucking ground.🐦‍🔥🐦‍🔥🐦‍🔥🔥🔥🔥 Keep rising sacred sisters.✊🏼 Love, LIONHEART 🦁

In the lead up to our Legal Style Awards 2025, I’m running some fun polls about stylish public figures. Helen Mirren won the poll for Most Stylish Mature Lady. Now it’s the turn of the silver foxes. Unfortunately, Instagram doesn’t allow a proper pole. So here are our four nominees. Let me know which one you’d choose. George Clooney has always looked kind of middle aged! But has he got more stylish with it over the years? Jon Bon Jovi has great bone facial structure and although his famous mane is now grey, he still looks pretty cool and has kept his rockstar style. Colin Firth remains everyone’s ideal Mr. Darcy but how is he faring as he ages? Does his older style still set your heart a flutter? Richard Gere embraced his grey a long time ago. He was one of the first big Hollywood heartthrobs to do so. Is he still a style setter? #georgeclooney #colinfirth #jonbonjovi #richardgere #silverfox #greyhairdontcare #style

They became silver foxes together ❤️
It was my birthday last week so getting older is on my mind. I have a complex and contradictory experience with ageing. I’d love to know how it sits with you? I feel like we see lots of positive conversations about diet and body image, but ageing is still a taboo topic. I love being in my 30s, it’s my favourite decade. I had the first half as a single girl living in my pink flat and learning to do things all my myself - like solo travel, and DJing. I put all my love into my friendships. And then my time now with my little fam - but with the assurance and independence of the lessons during the first years. I’m way more confident. I feel more beautiful. I care less what people think. I do things and wear things that make me feel good and not because I think I need to be a certain way to fit in. But then…. I find myself worrying about ageing. The physical side of it. I know I’m a product of my environment and it’s not surprising given the ageist society we live in. Men are silver foxes but women are past their prime. I see ageing as a blessing but I obsess over the lines and wrinkles and age spots and pores. But then, I also think women of all ages are beautiful. I get tweakments because it makes me feel better. But then I also hate the fact I want to. And I recognise that actually botox doesn’t really make people look younger. It just sort of makes you look frozen. I saw @georgieeswallow film a really beautiful reel with her mum, so I wanted to do the same. Because I think my mum looks so good. She is 30 years older than me, she has aged gracefully, and she looks just wonderful. And I recognise that in her. So why can’t I just lean into it all now? Either way, I wish there was less judgement on women - because there’s judgement for looking your age OR getting work done. I wish there was better age representation as it would help me navigate my own internal battles better. But I never judge anyone for doing what makes them feel good. Either way, ageing is a blessing. And getting older as a woman is liberation. Now we just need society to know it. 🙏
