I think Ricky Schroder might have been eating from a different spoon... 😂
Ricky Schroder was the quintessential 1980s child star. He first captured hearts in the 1979 film The Champ (becoming the youngest Golden Globe winner at age 9) before starring as the wealthy, video-game-loving Ricky Stratton on Silver Spoons from 1982 to 1987.
Alfonso Ribeiro played Alfonso Spears on Silver Spoons, where he was introduced as Ricky’s breakdancing, trend-setting best friend. Before the show, he was already a Broadway star in The Tap Dance Kid and famously danced with Michael Jackson in a Pepsi commercial.

Tell me this doesn’t get stuck in your head for days⁉️
Silver Spoons has to be considered one of the elite 80’s TV themes. Titled “Together” and performed by Ron Dante, best known as the lead singer of The Archies.
The show featured three distinct versions of the theme over its five-season run:
Original (1982–1985): A soft, guitar-driven pop version performed by Ron Dante.
Synthesized (1985): A more electronic version introduced in season 4 with a different vocalist.
Rock (1986–1987): A high-energy rock version used in the final season, returning to Ron Dante
