Often the misconception about professional Photographers are that their camera does all the work, it's because they have a good camera, and all the photographer does is stand and press a button. SO not true! we are so much more if I do say so myself. We plan sessions, scout locations, communicate and plan with you, give guidance on styling your session if requested, we prep our gear, and sure, a good camera and quality lense helps, we spend alot of money on having good gear so your paying for quality that cannot be compared to a phone camera. We shoot in raw, and personally I like to under expose a tad so I can really bring out all the photos in photoshop/lightroom half the magic is the editing time. But also, directing, posing, understanding lighting, understanding framing and how to make an image really stand out and become art. That is what sets a person with a camera apart from a Photographer. Granted I'm personally still new to the industry, I have plenty to learn and I haven't had as many opportunities to photograph a load of people in special locations yet, but I just want to guarantee that when I'm hired, your not just getting a girl with a good camera. Your getting a planner, a party enhancer, a director, poser, editor, communicator, Explorer, Mother, friend, and someone who is willing to do or try anything to get the perfect shot with the skills and understanding needed to be classified as a professional photographer. Starting in 2020 was tough, but I know with time and opportunity I can really create timeless pieces of art and capture the essence of you! not just a camera, so don't look at him, look at me, he's not going to help you.
