6 years. Hard to believe, honestly. I still remember sitting in my 800-square-foot apartment in the Florida Keys, just me, my laptop, and a big dream. I paid $1500/month for that place and blogged out of a plastic chair I found on the side of the road. Fast forward to now—and I’ve heard all sorts of assumptions about what my life must be like. Someone once even said, “It must be nice flying on private jets all the time.” I still laugh (and roll my eyes) at that one. Because truth is, only I know the full story of how far I/we have come. I remember telling my parents I was working online. They smiled and said, “Good for you… but how are you going to make money?” My dad, especially, worried about my retirement plan. Still, they backed me—supportive even in their skepticism. Then, one day, it clicked for them. My dream was turning real. In 2022 - I passed 100,000 followers, did my first @speedousa shoot, got inducted into my high school’s Hall of Fame, and flew to Portugal to lead @teamusa’s High Performance team at Paralympic World Championships. That year felt like life in the fast lane—and everything before it became a blur. Since then, it’s been full throttle. And I’m endlessly grateful to wake up every day and do what I love. 💜 Thank you for the support over the past 6 years. There is so much more ahead. For me, you, and SLAF. Maybe even those private jets someday 😉

In a heart stopping operation, a Sri Lanka’s Air Force Bell 212 helicopter swooped in to rescue a man stranded at coconut tree for over 24 hours in flood ravaged Aukana, Anuradhapura.
