Slint performing “Nosferatu Man” Live on the 13th of August, 2014 at the Electric Brixton in London, England A few words about this legendary band from @sayonaracupcake I remember the first time I heard Slint….it was on recommendation by the dude working behind the counter at Lou’s Records in San Diego…..I went to the counter and he literally just pointed up at the music playing overhead and then pushed Slint in front of me when I was there to buy Big Black (and I was there to buy Big Black because I saw @gavinrossdale name check them in almost every interview)…I bought the album….and everything changed….i immediately went out and bought a guitar….then I slapped a Slint sticker on it…..and it’s still there…..for the rest of my life thus far, anyone who cited Slint was more than OK in my book. This measure to gauge people has not failed. #Music #RockNRoll #Slint

Hay discos que intentan sonar diferentes… y hay discos que parecen venir de otro lugar. Spiderland de Slint salió en 1991… y décadas después sigue sonando incómodo, frío y extraño. Tal vez por eso terminó cambiando la música alternativa para siempre.
