What a privilege this was to experience a 1964 FIA 289 Shelby Cobra at @willow_springs_raceway as guest of the Cobra Owners Club. It was also the debut of my new @simpsonraceproducts custom 3-layer #nicolejohnsonsdetour fire suit, gloves and carbon fiber helmet, which Simpson generously provided for the show. It meant so much to me to bless the new suit in this manner. It’s more than safety gear… it means our show is just getting started! That we have created something big and important enough to warrant a new fire suit. It makes me feel strong 💪 and just like Speed Racer 🤓🏎️🇺🇸🔥
