If you’re still in, or you believe in the tech ideologically, here’s the screen. Crypto isn’t haram by default. What matters is what the token actually does. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and XRP each sit on top of something real — a payments network, a smart contract platform, settlement rails. They’re assets with a use case, not a claim on someone else’s interest payments. That’s what keeps them on the right side of the line. Where it breaks is when the protocol’s core business is interest. Aave is a lending platform — you borrow, you pay interest, that’s the product. Maker mints DAI through interest-bearing loans and pays a savings rate on top. SushiSwap’s yield farming and leveraged products run on the same engine. Buy the token and you’re buying a slice of riba revenue. It’s the same logic as screening a stock: you’re not judging the tech, you’re judging the business model.

Right now, when I structure a deal for investors, the process looks like this: Form an LLC Issue ownership shares Draft legal docs like a subscription agreement & PPM And once you’re in… there’s usually no option to sell your shares. Tokenization changes all of that. By placing the agreement & PPM into a smart contract tied to a digital token, everything becomes transparent, secure, and recorded on the blockchain. Investors could then trade those tokens on a secondary market, unlocking liquidity that doesn’t exist today. Private real estate investments will be as easy to buy and sell as stocks.
