At 2pm this afternoon, officers located and arrested a driver, after a hit & run crash in Canyon Park. Thankfully, everyone is okay. Bothell Police Offers were alerted — after several calls to 911 involving other agencies- about a reckless driver on 405, travelling NB in an beige RV that was all over the road. As patrol officers responded, they learned the RV had just exited at Canyon Park, where it slammed into a small, red vehicle. Fortunately, the victim-driver was okay – but callers reported the driver of the RV then took off at a very high speed, even jumping curbs. Officers really wanted to stop the vehicle before there was another crash. With multiple officers en route– one officer approached from a different direction, rounding the corner of Bothell Everett Hwy to WB 228th – fully blocking the oncoming RV and forcing the driver to make the right decision: to stop and comply. The driver was arrested and booked in the Snohomish County Jail. Officers are thankful that no one was hurt, and they’re grateful to the 911 callers.

📍Arlington, Washington Turo Rental Ends in Crash: Arlington Owner Left with Totaled Car A local resident experienced a nightmare scenario after renting out their 2013 Nissan LEAF through Turo, a popular peer-to-peer car-sharing platform. The owner received a message around 6:45 p.m. notifying them that the vehicle had been involved in a collision. According to the renter, another driver had allegedly run her off the road. She maintained that version of events in a report filed with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. However, the vehicle was equipped with a dashcam, something the owner had informed the renter about ahead of time, even offering her the option to disconnect it if she felt uncomfortable. She declined—and the footage reportedly tells a different story. This was only the second time the car had been rented out. Now, the owner believes the Nissan LEAF is a total loss. “My poor 2013 Nissan LEAF is gone,” they shared. 📸 @dashcam.encounters

So you want to move from the city to the burbs but you worry… You worry: ❓There won’t be a neighborhood you like. ❓There won’t be anything to do. ❓There won’t be any good restaurants. ❓It will take too long to get places. ❓And coffee…what about good coffee! We made the move from downtown Kirkland to Snohomish County about 4 years ago, and we still have all of these things and more. We see a lot of clients choose Everett because it has a lot of what the big city offers with a much lower price tag. ✨Everett is a waterfront city. ✨Everett has incredible restaurants. ✨Everett offers amazing community events. ✨All our favorite coffee shops are in Everett. ✨Everett is a great central location with easy access to the Eastside and Seattle. Want to explore moving? DM us and let’s chat!

Well then… that happened. I had to redo these cookies TWICE because my icing kept cratering and cracking. It’s fine. I’m fine. It all turned out fine, but it was a lot of work! To fix it, I ended up making new icing and trying again, and that’s okay!

A Snohomish County Sheriff’s deputy caught a lucky break when a man wanted for multiple hit and run collisions flagged him down to report a fight with his father. But his luck didn’t last long. While the deputy was talking to the man’s father, he jumped into the cruiser and drove away. SCSO officers arrested him shortly after. #police #snohomish #seattle #dashcam
