Automating my light show playback using SoundSwitch pt5
In The Name of Love by @martingarrix & @beberexha
I scripted this light show nearly 3 years ago during a laser demo, so it felt fitting to revisit this song during love season and add some lasers from @shehds.official

Introducing SoundSwitch 2.11
SoundSwitch is now more compatible than ever, with official rekordbox integration and PRO DJ LINK Bridge support connecting more DJs and more setups to synchronised lighting.
To celebrate the release, Chiccoreli brings SoundSwitch 2.11 to life in this liquid drum and bass performance, showcasing lighting that stays connected to the energy of the set from start to finish.
Whether you’re performing with rekordbox on a laptop or using supported AlphaTheta standalone hardware, SoundSwitch 2.11 makes it easier than ever to connect your DJ workflow with automated lighting that follows your performance in real time.
For DJs discovering SoundSwitch for the first time, it’s software designed to synchronise lighting with your DJ performance. By reading performance data, SoundSwitch can automatically trigger and play back light shows that stay aligned with your tracks while still giving you hands-on control through features like strobes, colour overrides, Static Looks and Autoloops.
The result is a lighting experience that responds to playback, transitions, loops and performance controls, helping create a more connected visual experience for both DJs and their audience.

🎧💍 Halloween Wedding Vibes! 🕸️🎃
Today, Diana and I had the honor of providing full DJ & MC services for a very special wedding — one that’s extra close to my heart. I’ve known this young man for over 20 years, and seeing him marry his beautiful bride today is truly something special.
They went all-in with a Halloween-themed wedding, and we matched that energy with the Diamond Package — complete with the Hunter B3 upgraded DJ station, 55” display, and Both Lighting USA magic featuring:
💡 Battery-powered moving spots
💡 Uplights throughout the room
💡 Dance floor lights
💡 360 glow tubes
All powered by my QSC K12.2 speakers (yes, the K-12 point-two monsters!), and my REV7 running SoundSwitch for full lighting control.
It’s spooky, it’s classy, and it’s going to be one unforgettable night. 👻

Sometimes the smallest rooms create the biggest vibes.
@djbasssick on a pair of Denon DJ SC6000s with SoundSwitch and the Control One turning an intimate gig into a moment the crew will never forget. This is exactly what the setup is built for.

Does the wolfmix have wireless midi in capabilities? SoundSwitch is more versatile than people think because it is built to run on auto pilot but with the control one next to your set up or an iPad or even Apple Watch remotely across the room you still can have vast level of control over your lights
@dmmusicco - Fundraising Gala in Ojai tonight. We’re running audio and video for tonight using Pioneer, Shure and QSC and of course all lighting using battery operated and wireless DMX from BothLightijg USA paired with SoundSwitch and the platinum package from BLUSA. We have all QSC speakers using the KS118’s and 12.2’s in the front, KC12’s on the sides and the new CB10’s outside for the cocktail hour. For lighting we have the 300W movers, BeeEye’s, IR4’s, 360 tubes, Bar lights and the Lekos for the stage wash. #djlife #dmmusicco #bothlightingusa #qscaudio #corporatedj

SoundSwitch 2.11 Introduces Integration With... Rekordbox? 👀
The idea of SoundSwitch, inMusic’s DMX lighting software, being integrated with Rekordbox, from AlphaTheta, looked highly unlikely, as the companies are such fierce competitors. Yet, here we are - and it’s not just for performance mode, but Pro DJ Link too. @mojaxx checks out everything new in SoundSwitch 2.11 on the new episode of Beatport Tech.
Comment ‘LINK’ and we’ll send you the full video.
✅Two things to process when watching this video! ✅
1. Notice the “daylight” outside paired with a packed dance floor. Ask yourself, is this common? How did this happen? What is the process when creating this energy?
2. For my wedding DJs……I’m saying good bye to SoundSwitch and Both 360 Tubes. Pulling out my Asteras and moving on to WolfMix for DMX control. GAME CHANGER!!

Note to self: Don’t step on the power cord right when your own set is about to go crazy 😂🔌🔇 I killed my own vibe! 🤦🏽♂️🤣
