One that celebrates Olympia’s deep musical roots while championing the next wave of artists who will keep this town on the map. We don’t take that lightly. We don’t take you lightly. This festival exists because you show up. You buy tickets. You bring your friends — and your families. You trust us with your time. You let us introduce you to new music. You build this thing with us, year after year. As we’ve been digging through photos and videos from the last four years (and yes, we’re about to unleash an absolutely unreasonable amount of content on your feeds because apparently that’s what it takes to put on a festival now), it’s been emotional to revisit the small moments: kids up on the barricade watching their first rock show, folks around the fire pit making new friends, neighbors bumping into each other and sticking around longer than planned. That’s the stuff that reminds us this isn’t just a lineup — it’s a shared experience. Year 5 isn’t something we take for granted. We’re building it with the same heart that got us here. We’ve weathered heat waves, last-minute curveballs, and even stadium shows just up the road. The last weekend in August belongs to South Sound Block Party. But you already knew that.
