I had sooo much fun at Splatter Art Studio Edinburgh #CapCut #thingstodoedinburgh #edinburgh #splatterart #splatterartstudio
This is our first time being a guest at a birthday party at Pinnovate. It’s something a little different! You get to take home a finished piece on the same day. Here are some of the choices for a birthday: “Stuff-a-Stuffie” (fill and personalize your own plush plus decorate a shirt), “Splatter Art” (messy and colourful canvas fun), “Pour Painting” (fluid art techniques for kids 6+), or a more traditional instructed paint-canvas party. We got to stay at the studio for 2 hours and the host brought their own pizza and cake. We enjoyed the guided instruction and my kids had a great time!  @pinnovate 📍137 Mahogany Plaza SE
We were ready to get creative and messy ... and we DID just that at @splatterartfactory 😂 the @harithiskanderkids had a Great Time in the no-holds barred environment of splatter art .... and @drjezaminelim piece had a hard time concerntrating cause the were creating mayhem around her! At the end of the day we somehow came away with art pieces that now hang proudly in our rooms!! Very proud of the our kids' creativity #iskanderkids #creativefun #splatterart #familytime
Check out our splatter art!
once the customers are away, we get free reign on the Spotify 🎶 #glasgow #splatterartstudio #thingstodoinglasgow #smallbusiness #splatterart

Splatter Art! This painting brings me so much joy every time I see it. A really fun and happy memory! It’s such a statement piece and always gets so many compliments. I love how it turned out. We used a canvas that I bought it nearly 20 years ago, it was £9 and I moved it from house to house waiting for it to fulfil its destiny. It was from @theworksstores and they still sell them just as cheap. We used acrylics, watercolour, emulsion and anything else we found in our paint basket. My tips if you want to recreate something similar is- -to do absolutely loads of layers and wait for each of them to dry before starting the next. -start with watered down paint and get thicker as you layer up. - stick to 3 or 4 colours so that the colours don’t start getting muddy. -try to keep the paint in the middle and splatter out towards the edges, wipe off any splatters that go in the wrong direction before they dry. -paint the canvas all one colour before starting, even if it’s white, and don’t be afraid to add more of that colour if the splatters start taking over. -have fun with it, keep it loose and free. Don’t worry about making every layer perfect. -if you think you’re finished, sleep on it, you’ll know when you see it with fresh eyes in the morning whether it needs a bit more tweaking or whether you’re really happy with it. Happy painting! #artwithkids #artmadefun #splatterpaint #mumof4boys
Happy Splatterday 🥳 the splatter art is a fun time with family or friends 🤗
The Reawakening is my breakthrough piece! a visual reminder to let go and create without fear. It was inspired by the question, ‘What the heck am I waiting for?’ and the realization that I was waiting for permission to just create freely. This piece is the first time I ever experimented with splatter art on such a large painting, and it pushed me out of my comfort zone. The colors, the chaos, the 3D sculptural element all came together as a reflection of breaking free from perfectionism and embracing the beauty of imperfection. I hope when you look at this, you feel empowered to stop waiting for the “perfect” moment and just do! Whether it’s with your art, your life, or anything else. Ready to make this piece yours? DM me for pricing & availability, or click the link in my bio and view the ‘FEAR-LESS’ collection to grab this piece before it’s gone!
AD| @splatterartstudiouk is located in leith, so just a 10 minute journey from the city centre. I didn’t know what to expect but it was so much fun!! You’re really encouraged just to go for it, be creative, get stuck in & splatter that paint! Your slot is an hour long which at first didn’t seem like a lot however it’s plenty of time & we didn’t feel rushed at all. I found it quite therapeutic too! Overall, it was a super fun experience & I would highly recommend if you’ve been thinking of heading along to definitely book in & do it. They also cater to events, kids, party’s & have BYOB licence! ____________________________ Edinburgh - Edinburgh Foodie - Scottish Blogger - Edinburgh Blogger - Scotland - Lifestyle Blogger - Splatter Art #edinburgh #edinburghcity #edinburghfoodie #scottishblogger #scottishbloggers #edinburghbloggers #edinburghblogger #visitscotland
Love ❤️ this idea 💡 to use water balloons 💧🎈 to make splatter art! 🎨  ‘Reusable Water Balloon Splatter Action Art// Have you heard of reusable water balloons? These innovative water balloons are perfect for water play especially during this heat wave. They are also great for creating action #processart. Action process art involves art activities that are hands-on active movements where the focus is on the process rather than the finished product. “Action Art projects result in products to be enjoyed and admired, but it is the process of exploration and experimenting that stimulates the child’s learning from discovering and creating…” from #ActionArt. To set this invitation you will need reusable water balloons, @discountschoolsupply @colorations.artoflearning liquid water colors, water, and butcher/poster paper. Fill up the water balloons and add drops of liquid watercolor into the balloons to color the water. Invite the child to throw the water balloons onto the paper to create their very own master piece! Engaging children with a combination of art, science, and gross motor action is a dynamic way to teach and expose them to a style of painting where there are no mistakes or boundaries. When children use out of the norm tools to paint they become more thoughtful and creative about the techniques they use as they experiment. They flick, splat, drip, swift, squirt, and move through so many different ways which enhances both their fine and #grossmotorskills. Every time we provide children with the opportunity to create art all on their own, we are reminded of how engaging and important process art is. Exploring art, color, gravity, movement, and different techniques of creating, will only enhance and open a child‘s way of thinking creatively while helping them cover so many domains of learning.’
