Here’s how to do it: 1️⃣ Get my free printable by commenting SPRING (also in my bio) or draw your own simple flower shapes 2️⃣ Print on regular computer paper, not cardstock, so it’s light enough to absorb the water 3️⃣ Laminate the cover sheet for durability so you can reuse it again and again and cut out the flowers and fold the petals into the center 4️⃣ Attach the flowers to the stems using double-sided tape 5️⃣ Fill a spray bottle with water and let kids spray the flowers 6️⃣ Watch them slowly open and “bloom” right before your eyes Perfect for spring afternoons, playdates, classroom activities, or just one of those “I need something fun” moments. Try this easy idea to make a whimsical rainbow flower bouquet for your next spring celebration (and it doubles as a fun little science lesson for your kiddos 👩🏼‍🔬) 🌈 💐 Here’s how ⤵️ * Use white flowers (I love the colorful clouds of dainty baby’s breath blossoms!) * Fill jars with a small amount of warm water + lots of food coloring (I used about 20-30 drops in these small jars) * Trim fresh stems at a 45° angle and place in the colored water * Watch the magic happen! Some flowers will start changing within a few hours, while others may take up to 24 hours. * Remove them from the dye when the color reaches your desired vibrancy. I styled mine in color blocks using twelve thrifted bud vases, two per color, for a full rainbow centerpiece down the table. It turned out so sweet and cheerful for spring.
