#squigs
This one deserved its own reel! Absolute unit and worth every second of getting pricked by all the tiny spikes, teeth, and spines.

32/100 - #100minis - Mangler Squigs
Just finished the Mangler Squigs from Gloomspite Gitz. A super fun miniature to paint. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to finish the base today. We have so much to do on the videos before the holidays. I guess I will do the base together with a bigger batch of minis in the future. 🦑

Squigs are the first to appear from Ork spores. Serving as food and many other working positions, the grots and Gretchen that spawn soon after will for utilize them to prepare the Orks for the upcoming WAAAGH.

Want to make an OT’s day? One word: SQUIGS! 😜
.
.
How do squigs help with your child’s daily activities like handwriting?
.
.
🧠 Think about how you hold a pencil and paper while writing - gripping a Squig and stabilizing the surface mimics how we hold a pencil and keep paper steady!
🧠 Working on a vertical surface builds shoulder and core stability, which are key for good posture at the table.
🧠 Using Squigs to cross midline supports better posture and movement at the table, and in turn, a potentially retained ATNR.
🧠 Visual perceptual skills improve when kids copy Squig patterns - just like they need to copy letters when writing!

Link in bio to my favorite squigs! .
