Manuka flowers only open for a few short weeks of the year, and if conditions are just right, bees are able to harvest the nectar to make honey. 27+ UMF is one of the highest grades of Manuka honey, and limited amounts are available annually. With such a special release, the product needed an equally special and bespoke piece of packaging for @steenshoney
@davidtrubridge & team designed the beautiful overall look & feel of the package, including the early flower workings & motion 🌸 (mind blowing)
We/Think Packaging, then added our bit & meticulously hand-crafted/engineered all elements, ensuring the outer box & flower opened effortlessly

Hydration tips for you! Let’s Go!
1. Water is just the beginning... I recommend consuming more than just water if possible to add variety and encourage your to drink more. At the minimum, you should be drinking loads of herbal teas, a bit of juice can be nice, too.
2. Do not skimp on electrolytes.... Listen here. Dehydration doesn’t just mean you are parched. Your guts get dried out, too and you will get very constipated. Keep your minerals in balance (you may be perspiring more than you realize since dry air and constant wind evaporate your sweat so quickly.) You can buy expensive tablet thingys or just make a mix of your own.
3. Want to keep things moving?.... I suggest at least three tbsp of chia seeds per day, mixed with plenty of water, nut milk, in your soup, whatever. Just get those suckers down.
4. Open mouthed respiration is not your friend.... You are probably already aware of the benefits of nasal breathing. This is an excellent time to practice. I personally find that nasal breathing is great for my exercise induced asthma when I’m running, but heck ya it’s really hard. Do your best, and know any little bit helps.

Not a whole lot left in the tank today after concluding my @wdcdeadlifting prep, but we got a good session in to round the week off.
Natural stone to chest, natural stone hav lift for reps and fingerless sandbag box squats were all due on plan and banged them all out ok despite the evident fatigue.
Then I round the session off with wrist and grip work, resisting the urge to jump in on dinnies with @ed.lifts.stones who banged out a huge session.
Weekend of rest now before one final light session Monday, before resting next week for the comp on Saturday.

ALWAYS LEAVE CLUES FOR THE SEARCH PARTY... After obsessing over the Basin and Range part of Oregon for the better part of a decade, here is my best, free easy safety tip for those times when you decide to take an impromptu hike in the middle of nowhere.
Write your destination on the side of your car in dust.
That’s it. It takes fifteen seconds to scribble the date, time and destination on your door in the coating of dust it is inevitably wearing.
See, I might not do this in a crowded trailhead parking lot, where I’m already worried about getting my car broken into, and I’m expected back the same day.
BUT In Southeast Oregon, there are vast areas that are only visited by cattle, seasonally. You can go days or weeks without seeing another person in places like the Pueblos, Hawks Valley, Abert Rim. There is not a lick of cell service in some valleys. You are truly alone out there. It’s highly unlikely that you will pass anyone “on the trail” while you are out hiking or even on the road. The odds of finding help if you’re get hurt are slim.
If it’s raining, sometimes I’ll just scribble some info on a piece of paper and leave it on my dashboard where someone can read it.
Just make sure to wipe it off before you get back into town or you’ll get funny looks at the gas station with the words DIABLO SUMMIT written real big on your door 😄
