I always assumed it was in the middle of the Caribbean with nothing nearby…not that it was easily and clearly visible from both St. Thomas and St. John. When our friends who live on St. Thomas mentioned we could see Epstein Island (aka Little Saint James), I thought they were kidding. But there it was…and with lights on when we made the trip back after dark. #stthomasusvi #usvirginislands #stjohnusvi #caribbean

I think it’s almost impossible to visit St. Thomas without taking a day trip to St. John. Our plan of attack was simple: pick a beach, grab a taxi, find a quick lunch, and spend the entire day soaking up the sun. Honestly, I was a little sad to leave that beach. Before heading back to jump on the ferry we stopped at @beachbarstjohn , which is legendary for its outdoor seating where you can literally put your toes in the sand while you eat and drink. We even squeezed in a little shopping… although I completely forgot to take photos. If you ever visit St. Thomas, make it a priority to spend a day in St. John. Trust me on this one.
