This Strathfield spot has been around since the early 1970s and you can feel it everywhere. Bright colours, bold ceiling patterns, vibey lighting… it’s loud, vibrant and honestly such a fun throwback 🎨💃
The staff here are SO sweet 🥹 they actually serve the food for you (which caught us off guard!) and guide you on what to order. Loved that personal touch 🙌
The menu is super Australianised, full of familiar classics done really well 🍽️
And then… the sizzling Mongolian lamb 🔥🔥
You hear it before you see it 😮🔥 every head turns, the aroma hits, and wow… it delivers 🤤
Every table around us was celebrating something 🎂🥂 birthdays, catch-ups, big group dinners… everyone laughing, sharing and just having the best time ❤️

This place is such an icon in Strathfield - been there for as long as I remember and still consistently providing great food.
Famous for their Mandoo or Korean Style Dumplings as well as cold and hot noodle soups. A must check out for sure! Their prawn dumplings are exceptionally delicious!

We stopped by and it’s one of those places that feels easy… no rush, just a good way to reset before the week starts.
There’s also free parking near 20 Mitchell Street, which makes it even better. Avoid the 4P metered parking on the corner of Mitchell and Arthur st 🤓
