Taking a road trip to Sunriver in Central Oregon is the ☀️PERFECT☀️ family vacation. We’ve gone for three out of our daughter’s first four years of life, and this summer was our first trip with both kids. It truly is a magical place where core memories are made (I know I have many from my youth).
After going a few times, these are my three must-do activities with young kids (and they’re all in the 💖heart💖 of Sunriver, so a 10-minute-or-less drive (or bike ride) away from most house rentals):
🏊♀️ SHARC is a family-friendly aquatic center that has a whole area dedicated for young toddlers, as well as an indoor pool with a small slide and whirlpool that my 4-year-old loved!
🛝 Fort Rock Park is a great playground that’s easy to get to via bike paths. My daughter had a blast riding in a bike trailer!
🍦 Goody’s Ice Cream has been a Sunriver institution since 1984 and is located in the Village, which has so many other fun things to do including mini golf, shopping, and some great restaurants!
