🤣 Jensen Ackles made an explosive entrance into the world of Amazon Prime Video's The Boys as Soldier Boy, instantly becoming a fan-favorite and a pivotal character in the series' third season. Known for his long-standing role as Dean Winchester in Supernatural, Ackles seamlessly transitioned into the role of Vought's original superhero, a Captain America-esque figure from a bygone era who is far more dangerous and morally ambiguous than his patriotic facade suggests. Ackles' portrayal of Soldier Boy brought a raw, unpredictable energy to the show, perfectly capturing the character's toxic masculinity, outdated views, and immense power. His dynamic with Homelander and the rest of The Boys provided some of the season's most compelling storylines and intense confrontations. Soldier Boy's arc explored themes of legacy, trauma, and the dark underbelly of superhero history, further cementing The Boys' reputation for its sharp satire and fearless deconstruction of the superhero genre. Jensen Ackles' performance was a masterclass in complexity, making Soldier Boy an unforgettable addition to the series. 🎥: @cameroncrovetti

🌊 Interesting fact: Children of the Sea (2019) — This visually stunning anime film follows a young girl named Ruka who meets two mysterious boys, Umi and Sora, who were raised by dugongs and possess a supernatural connection to the ocean. To capture the fluid, ethereal movement of the marine life, Studio 4°C blended traditional hand-drawn animation with cutting-edge CGI, creating a breathtaking “moving painting” effect that mirrors the vastness of the deep sea. The film’s immersive soundscape features a score by legendary composer Joe Hisaishi, who used unique instrumental textures to mimic the rhythmic sounds of whale songs and crashing waves.
