The @wsl Championship Tour is headed to my favorite left in California this week 😍 No waves for me this trip, but these are my tips: - At Surf Ranch you can ride an inch or two shorter than you usually ride, to fit in the curve of the wave. This is a @matt_biolos @lostsurfboards @markrichardssurfboards California Twin, so I am cheating a bit, but I also recommend epoxy construction. The wave is perfect - you want the tools to play! - Pay attention to your fins: I like riding with a smaller back fin, no matter what the model, for that little bit X factor and feeling like I can get to where I need to be. This board is set up as a 2+1. - Work on your leg strength before you get there. It’s too late on the day! Run hills, do squats - whatever you gotta do 😎 #surfranchpro @wsl @wslbrasil @805beer @alo
