High tea… but make it mobile 🫖✨ Sipping and sightseeing with Tea Around Town in Los Angeles — and yes, it’s as cute as it looks. The food was a hit and miss. Scones were dry. Sandwiches were good but nothing out of the ordinary. The bus came a tad late. We didn’t get the refresh rosé which was supposed to be part of our package. It’s hard to justify the cost for this experience. Entertainer was great! Has the voice of an angel. But there were parts where we couldn’t hear her because of conversations around us. This is a moving bus, so expect sudden halts. If you’re prone to motion sickness, this may not be the experience for you. This was such a cute experience! 💐 We rode the Tea Town Bus that takes you on a 75 min tour around LA while you get to enjoy a beautiful tea party 🫖☕️ We did this for a birthday & we would definitely do it again! It seems they’re still working out some kinks, ac in the bus is definitely needed! Tea, with a tour! 🫖🚌 We took the most aesthetic city tour possible this weekend with @teaaroundtownnyc. You enjoy a lovely afternoon tea experience aboard a beautifully decorated double-decker bus while you take in landmarks around downtown like Reunion Tower, Pioneer Park & Dealey Plaza. We tried 4 types of tea & also got to keep the cute souvenir tumbler. There are two menus available—petite, which features 14 items, & luxe, which features 21, plus a mocktail. The food is all fairly standard afternoon tea bites, including tea sandwiches, scones & desserts, but everything was beautifully plated & there was more than enough to fill up. Our tour guide was so entertaining & gave a lot of fun facts about the city that even us locals didn’t know. (Did you know German chocolate cake originated in Dallas? And is named that because it’s named after a chocolate maker named Samuel German? 🍫) Tea Around Town is in 11 other cities (including Austin, Houston & San Antonio) & it would be so fun to sightsee this way! Tea is something that I’ve loved and has been engraved in my DNA since I was a child lol culturally every time we had guests come over to my house, my Mom puts on the tea without even asking haha.
