Waze Tekala River Recreation Forest and park right opposite. It's about an hour drive from KL and was introduced by one of my mama friends years ago 🫶 There isn't much of a hike except for the upper parts, and you can easily access shallow water areas with lots of large boulders to enjoy a picnic.
You'll find some gazebos along the way but they get taken up really quickly on weekends. Please always take your trash back. I know there are trash bins but animals tend to raid them, and I think if we can bring our stuff in, we can always bring them out.
