The actual process: → New pods come up one by one → Old pods go down only after new ones pass readiness probe → If readiness fails — rollout stops automatically → Zero downtime. If configured correctly. Most people just know the command. kubectl rollout restart deployment/my-app That's not knowledge. That's Google. Real knowledge is knowing WHY it works. And what breaks it. Before you put a tool on your resume — can you explain it to a 10 year old? If not, you're not ready. And interviewers WILL find out.
