this song is called HER feat. ZVC, & it’s out everywhere. I wrote this song about meeting my daughter Haven for the first time. We adopted Haven in May of 2025, and she’s been the greatest blessing of our lives. We hope this song shines just a bit of light on the beauty it is to be a parent, one of God’s greatest gifts.

My baby expressed gratitude before seeing the blessing! This video still gets me. 🥹 She continued to show her gratefulness after receiving this gift by making the Chancellor’s list at NCAT this semester. She’s the freshman class VP, she serves the community in Greensboro weekly and the list just goes on and on. Some kids just get nice things, but some kids deserve nice things.
