The role of menacing cult leader Lord Summersisle was written with Lee in mind. With a tight budget they couldn’t afford the actor’s pay rate. Lee loved the The Wicker Man so much he appeared without pay. Loving that this horror film relied on intelligence than gore

The Armagh Rhymers for McQueen
Music: Lullaby from The Wicker Man (Soundtrack)
Seán McGirr’s latest vision for McQueen ignites a visceral dialogue between order and instinct. Inspired by The Wicker Man, the collection simmers with primal energy — uniforms undone, corsetry unbound, and silhouettes reimagined with a raw sensuality that teeters between control and chaos.
