If you need to get in or out of San Francisco this weekend, prepare for major delays. Interstate 80 is closed from Highway 101 to the Bay Bridge approach. This stretches about a mile and a half. This was a current look at the traffic flow from EB 80 from 17th to 4th streets. The red was the closure and there was slow traffic in and around it. CalTrans is working on big repairs to the 71-year-old roadway. It says closing the roadway all weekend, gets the work done faster. The closure is expected to last until Monday morning.
