Nella nostra ricerca di isole locali, le nostre Maldive a Thoddoo sono state il punto di partenza di un mini itinerario nell’atollo di Ari nord fra isole collegate fra loro dai traghetti locali.
Thoddoo è un’isola insolitamente grande, quindi sono da valutare bene le vostre preferenze, se è un’isola che può piacervi oppure no.
Il suo nome significa “isola sul grande reef” ed è lontana sia dai resort che dalle altre isole.
Si tratta di un’autentica esperienza maldiviana, in un’isola mediamente più grande del solito.
Non vi diremo che è tutto bellissimo, perché l’ecologia non è ancora entrata a pieno titolo nella mentalità maldiviana, ma vi diremo che è tutto autentico, non solo una bellissima spiaggia godibile tutto il giorno, ma anche le stradine di sabbia con un po’ di buchi, o i lavori in corso, ma sempre coi locali che si riposano sulle loro amache-sedili.
Girarla in bici è comunque decisamente divertente e non rimpiangerete il tempo speso qui.

Na Thoddoo sa dá asi 20-50 metrov od brehu plávať s korytnačkami, čo je jednoznačne top zážitok tohto výletu. Je ich tam veľa, čiže ich nehľadáte a nenaháňate, ale pekne sledujte z rešpektujúcej vzdialenosti. Korytnačky nechytáme, neprenasledujeme a nestresujeme a treba o tom poučiť aj deti. My sme si kúpili pracovné zošity a ideme vyfarbiť a pomenovať všetky rybky, ktoré sme dnes videli. Okrem toho musím nájsť aj info o korytnačkách a hodina prírodovedy by bola ☺️
Dlhodobo by som domškoláctvo nedala, ale toto je super príležitosť na to, ako deťom dať do hlavy nejaké vedomosti bez námahy, lebo toto si určite zapamätajú do konca života.
