Why am I only now tlaking/doing something about my tics? When I've had variations of them for over 20 years? Because at some point. You need to figure out what is driving them, and why are they getting so out of control. It forces you to uncover whats going on a little deeper. You may not like it! I know I dont! Easy to say: ' oh it just gets worse when im anxious or stressed' And then just leave it there. Instead of asking: Well why tf am I so anxious and stressed? Anxiety > Tics > Stress > Tics > Repeat If i can lessen one of these, the cycle starts breaking. But that's why I'm here. Better myself. Better yourselves. You do what you want to do, when you want to do it. #tics #tourettes

So this is going to be super embarrassing and personal. But its getting worse as time goes on. As you can see in the video, i have quite prominent tics. Both vocal and physical (its not at FULL tourettes level, luckily) Have had them for yeaaars, but they have got stronger over time, and the last few years, been very invasive. My Dad kindly filmed me one day without me knowing, so i could catch it on video. This was a year or so ago, but is just as bad, and the vocals have got worse. And it ramps right up whenever i get stressed and anxious. It used to go away when i focused on something, like acting - i never had it at all when on camera at Hollyoaks etc. But I'm sure my mates have noticed, and my clients. And theyre all quite used to it, even if i try to hide it. But this is mainly to see, what others who are in a similar position do, or have done to lessen these tics? Ive had a head scan, and then noone has followed up, but i really want to see a specialist . If they will have me! But has anyone found any supplements helped at all?
