If you notice your prints aren’t coming out smooth at the base (where they touch the build plate), you may be dealing with elephant’s foot. This happens when the first layer is slightly over-squished, causing the bottom of the print to flare outward.
The best way to fix this is by adjusting your Z offset. Raising it slightly can reduce excessive squish and give you cleaner, sharper edges on the bottom of your prints.
Take small adjustment steps and test print until the base comes out clean and smooth.

Consider this your periodic reminder to check your nozzle before starting a print.
Tried printing a model sliced for a 0.4mm nozzle while a 0.6mm nozzle was installed.
Result: giant plastic noodle.
My Voron 2.4 is running an @e3donline Revo hotend, which makes swapping nozzles super easy… but apparently that also makes it easy to forget which one is installed.
Good news: once the 0.4mm nozzle went back in, everything behaved. Lesson learned... Again.
