When I first started tooth gems 5 years ago and started seeing more clients, I thought that 6 months to 1 year retention was REALLY good Until I kept seeing on social media that some techs were having up to 3 year retention 😱 And I thought “how is that even possibleee? they must be lying??” 🤨 I was using that exact same products doing the exact same three step method, drying the tooth and rubbing the bond, and yet my gems would still be inconsistent between 3 month to 1 year Now 5 years later, my Client’s average tooth general retention is 2 to 4 years (yep insane!!) 🤯 The thing is, I didn’t change my products or even cured for longer or anything like that I simply learnt how to classify clients by risk (by asking the RIGHT questions in the consult) so that I could design a gem personalised to them Even a low risk look and placement can be high risk for someone who already has pre-existing red flags 🚩 So it wasn’t a secret trick or technique It was about simply asking the right questions in the consultation to understand what would work and what doesn’t work in THEIR mouth When you understand the dental science, tooth gems retention no longer becomes unpredictable 👏👏 . . . . #toothgemtraining #toothgemtechnician #toothgems #toothgem #toothgemtech
