1ļøā£ swapping plastic storage for glass
using more glass containers instead of plastic (especially for hot foods!). plastic/BPA is a huge endocrine disruptor and can negatively impact fertility! Also - whenever we get pho takeout now - we bring in our own stainless steel containers for them to put the hot soup in!
Taking you guys along this entire journey of preconception care prep - lab work, foods we are prioritizing & more fertility prep info is alll on my page!
2ļøā£ filtering our water

I honestly wasnāt sure about posting this. Iām still not sure- but I started my Instagram sharing everything about my pregnancy journey so here it is. After 10 years of trying I got my second positive pregnancy test from a NATURAL cycle! This hasnāt happened since 2016.
Iāve been charting with my @ouraring and @naturalcycles app for about a year and on Sunday, something was different. My friend who is a master of charts told me to test. I did and it was positive as seen in the video.
Unfortunately, this is not a viable pregnancy, my hcg was 8 when I got my blood work the next day. Iām still not sure how to process this, because on one hand, Iām extremely overjoyed that I got pregnant naturally! On the other Iām heartbroken it didnāt stick, however, now, maybe thatās the hope I need for the future.
We have been discussing other options to grow our family and theyāre still open, but this gives me hope I donāt think I had before. #ttccommunity #pregnantover40 #chemicalpregnancy
taking pregnancy tests again after infertility just feels heavy. like you want to be excited, but thereās always this quiet voice in the back of your head reminding you how it felt last time.
month five, and itās the same thoughts on repeat: maybe this is it - donāt get too excited - but what if it is - okay but protect your heartā¦
itās such a strange place to be⦠hoping so deeply while also trying not to feel too much at all. I keep coming back to this:āyou can hold grief and hope in the same hand and still choose to move forward.ā
and thatās what this is.
not fearless. not carefree. just choosing to try again anyway.
so⦠here we are

No one talks about how HARD this time frame isšš #fertilityjourney #ttccommunity #ttcsupport #fertility #pregnancysymptoms
We keep finding the strength we didnāt know we had and life carries on. Forever surprising myself with this journey and our ability as humans to hold two strong, holding opposing truths at the same time.
Feeling deep sadness and excitement for the future in one breath sometimes. Holding both only makes us human.š«

7DPFET: Iāve re-lived this morning every day for the last week š«¶š½š
I was basking in the bliss of being on cloud nine after our transfer + marinating in the joy of what could be, but with every passing day those feelings have dwindled. Theyāve now been replaced with feelings of anxiousness + worry.
Part of me is so ready to know, either wayā I just want to know. The other part of me wants to sit in this waiting a little longer because here I have hope, a hope that could be quickly taken by hearing three devastating wordsā āit didnāt work.ā
The waiting is brutal, but the one thing that has brought me undeniable peace this week is knowing that Iām allowed to be excited about what we did without knowing what tomorrow holds.
Whether itās a yes or a no, we got to do this + thatās an honor in + of itself.
The day before BETA is heavy. Youāre looking at the clock wondering why the minutes wonāt pass faster + feeling like youāre going to go crazy. The temptation to take a pregnancy test at home is at an all time high, but I also know that it wouldnāt be a good idea for meā I can wait a little longer.
Until then, I will keep this video on a loop + continue to stare at our embryo picture because it feels silly to do anything else. Weāre distracting our minds, but our minds always find a way back to here to sit + wonder.
Weāre saying every prayer, thinking every sticky little thought, + just hoping with everything we have that this little baby decided to stick around.
For our fellow IVF + infertility warriors ā no matter where you are in your journey, I want you to know youāre not alone. This whole thing can feel so isolating, but I want you to know that weāre cheering you on + weāre here if you want to talkā„ļø
When youāre walking through secondary infertility, you arenāt just managing appointments and cyclesā¦.
Youāre managing a heart that is constantly pulled in two different directions. Itās a heavy, quiet kind of limbo that touches every corner of your life.
It looks something like thisā¦
š The Hoarding of Hope:
Staring at the vacuum-sealed bags and the outgrown crib. You canāt bear to donate them, but you feel āridiculousā keeping them. Itās not just clutter; itās a physical manifestation of the āwhat if.ā
š The Gratitude Tax:
The world reminds you how āluckyā you are to have one. You know that. You feel that in your bones. But why does the joy of the child in your arms have to cancel out the ache for the one who isnāt here yet?
š The Green-Eyed Monster:
Watching siblings play at the park and feeling a physical sting in your chest. Itās not that youāre unhappy for them; itās just the loud reminder of the gift you desperately want to give your own child.
š Bodily betrayal
The constant, frustrating internal dialogue: āYou did this once. You know the way. Why is my body letting me down time and time again?ā
š The āLesserā Infertility Myth:
Being on the same meds, the same injections, and the same grueling two-week waitsāall while trying to be the āperfectā present mama to the child you already have. The exhaustion is doubled.
š The Heartbreak Questions:
Bracing yourself when your little one asks when theyāll get a āmini friendā to play with at home. Smiling through the answer while your heart quietly breaks for both of you.
And then, thereās the š Final Choice.
The looming question of how much longer you can keep your heart in this waiting room before the weight becomes too much to bear.
If youāre nodding along to this, please know: Your feelings arenāt ātoo much.ā Your longing isnāt āungrateful.ā And you are definitely not alone in this limbo.

Never in my wildest dreams did I think Iād be making this video or going through a D&C for a missed miscarriage at almost 8 weeks ā¤ļøāš©¹š¼š¼
When Jake and I found out we were pregnant on March 22nd, we were so hopeful. This time, we did everything āright,ā progesterone support, baby aspirin, Lovenox for my Factor V Leiden and all of my levels looked perfect. Our baby was growing in my uterus, and we watched it grow each week, something we didnāt get with our previous chemical pregnancies. My body did what it was supposed to do, and our team did everything they could⦠and still, some things are just out of our control. Thatās the hardest part to process right now.
Iāve always shared this journey in hopes it helps someone feel less alone. If youāre going through something similar, I see you and Iām sending so much loveš« This path is not for the weak.
We are so grateful for our friends and family who have shown up for us over this past year. Your love has carried us more than you know. Thank you, thank you, thank youššš»
This wonāt break us. Iāll keep advocating for myself, keep showing up, and trusting that in Godās perfect timing, our baby will come to usš¼š¼š #ttc #miscarriage #fertilityjourney #missedmiscarriage #ttccommunity
āIf itās negative by 13DPO, youāre outā¦ā
Thatās what I kept telling myself anyway.
Meanwhile⦠I went back and checked my Flo app
and out of my last 4 pregnancies:
14DPO
15DPO
16DPO
16DPO
So why do I still convince myself Iām out every single time?
This wait messes with your head more than anything else.
Logic goes out the windowā¦
and fear takes over.
If youāre doing the same⦠youāre not crazy š¤

These are the first things I'd do if I was trying to get pregnant (again):
1ļøā£ Start tracking your cycle
And I don't mean some generic app or ovulation tests can only measure the surge of the LH hormone but can't tell whether ovulation happened.
I mean start taking your basal body temperature and observe cervical mucus. In this way, after two or three cycles you'll be able to:
š
Tell when your fertile window opens
š
Know 100% that and when ovulation happened
š
Whether there are some hormonal imbalances that need special attention
2ļøā£ Show extra love to progesterone
It is the hormone that supports implantation and supports a pregnancy.
How to know you are not making enough?
š© luteal phase shorter than 12 days
š© horrible PMS
š© blood test (make sure to time the test correctly, a week after ovulation)
And how to support it?
š
Sleep in dark, cold room
š
Natural light soon after getting up
š
vit C, B6, zinc, magnesium, evening primrose oil
š
stress management, yoga, meditation, deep breaths
3ļøā£ Pay attention to your feelings and emotions
You don't want to carry traumas and emotional baggages, past relationships into your pregnancy. Make sure to make emotional space for your baby alongside the physical preparation.
How to do that?
š
Talk to your partner (as a side effect, it can deepen your relationship)
š
Therapy
š
Acupuncture to let go of old stuck energy
š
Meditation, in yoga focus on hip and chest openers

I feel incredibly exposed sharing this, but⦠Iāve just gone through my second miscarriage.
Iām putting it out there for anyone whoās in this right now, or whoās been through this kind of loss before š¤
Because neither of them felt anything like ājust a heavy period.ā
Especially this second timeā¦it was intense.
So no, I didnāt just have a bad period.
I was losing my baby. And with it the future I had created in my head.
It felt like my body went into full labour without any warning. The pain was overwhelming, and I was bleeding so much that I genuinely got scared. My husband ended up calling an ambulance because it felt like this wasnāt normal.
Iām not sharing this to scare anyone.
Iām sharing it because I wish someone had told me this could happen.
When you start trying for a baby, you hear about the excitement, the hope⦠but not this part. Not the reality that it can be messy, painful, and completely out of your control.
In a perfect world, we wouldnāt have to talk about this at all.
But until then, we deserve to be more prepared and to feel less alone if it happens š¤
If youāve been through this, or youāre going through it now, you donāt have to sit with it on your own. My DMs are open š¤
