Turan(The Turkish Union) The period between 1683 and 1711 marks a critical turning point where the ideal of "Pax Ottomana" (the Ottoman Peace) faced its most severe crisis and transitioned into an era of survival. This turbulent phase triggered the Great Turkish War following the failed Second Siege of Vienna in 1683. For nearly two decades, the empire fought a multi-front war against the European Holy League. This prolonged conflict pushed the Ottoman military, financial, and administrative machinery to its absolute limits, effectively shattering the internal and external stability that defined the classic Pax Ottomana. The diplomatic climax of this painful era came with the Treaty of Karlowitz in 1699. It went down in history as the first major territorial loss for the Ottoman Empire, officially ending its absolute supremacy in Central Europe. The loss of vast lands like Hungary and Morea did more...However, the period concluded with a significant diplomatic and military revival for the Sublime Porte. Seeking to halt Russia's aggressive expansion toward the Black Sea, the Ottomans engaged Tsar Peter the Great and achieved a decisive victory at the Battle of Pruth in 1711. The resulting Treaty of Pruth allowed the Ottomans to reclaim the strategic fortress of Azov and temporarily check the Russian threat. While this victory could not fully restore the golden age of Pax Ottomana, it injected fresh hope into the empire to reclaim lost territories and set the stage for the defensive diplomacy of the upcoming Tulip Period. #türkiye , #tarih , #turan , #edit , #style

🎶 Türk dünyasının ünlü müzik grubu Turan Ethno, “Er-Turan” şarkısını enstrümansız söyledi. Hiçbir enstrüman kullanılmadan, yalnızca insan sesinin gücüyle ortaya konan bu eşsiz performansta; bozkırın ruhu, doğanın yankısı ve kadim Türk ezgileri tek bir nefeste birleşiyor. ✨ Binlerce yıllık Türk müzik geleneğinden ilham alan grup, geleneksel ses teknikleriyle unutulmaz bir performansa imza atıyor. #TuranEthno #Türk #ErTuran #TürkTarihi #TürkKültürü
