Provisionally putting the lining on the front piece.
Any questions in the comments! 🤗
I basted the lining onto the front piece with sewing thread. I gave some allowance in the chest part and in the hips, so there is no tension on the lining.
Then I marked the Lapel and cut back the lining.
Lastly I basted the finished edge and hem.
Since I have the second fitting on Tuesday I have to hurry a bit! That’s why I basted the part where the pocket is aswell. (Later we will cut the lining where the pocket is and finish it) 🪡🫶🏻
