Another (super quick) clip from Namm, this is something I was hoping to be able to try and it was PERFECT ! This is the @tworockamplification ‘Silver Sterling Signature’ and I absolutely loved it! I wanted to say thank you so much to the very kind people at Two Rock for talking to me about their amplifiers, it’s the first time I’ve tried anything of this style and it taught me a lot! And I want to work really hard so I have one of my own one day!!!! Beautiful amplifier, beautiful sound. #guitar #guitarist #youngmusician #alwayslearning #tworock #tworockamps #silversterlingsignature

While the world saw Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as one of Hollywood’s biggest stars, Lauren Hashian had been by his side for many years - the daughter of a rock musician with Armenian roots. They met in 2006, spent 12 years together before getting married, and today they are raising two daughters.
Gary Moore & B.B. King connected two different generations of blues guitar: one was a British/Irish rock-blues shredder, the other was basically the king of modern electric blues itself. 🎸 B.B. King (1925–2015) American blues guitarist and singer from Mississippi Nicknamed “The King of the Blues” His guitar was famously named Lucille Style: emotional, minimal, expressive What made B.B. King special wasn’t speed — it was phrasing. He could play one single note and make it sound like someone crying. Signature techniques: Wide, slow vibrato (arguably the most recognizable vibrato ever) Call-and-response playing (guitar answers his vocals) Leaving silence between notes (huge influence on modern blues) He influenced: Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, John Mayer, and… Gary Moore. 🎸 Gary Moore (1952–2011) Northern Irish guitarist (Thin Lizzy member at one point) Started in rock/metal → later went deep into traditional blues Style: intense, emotional, and extremely expressive lead guitar Gary Moore was basically: B.B. King emotion + rock guitarist aggression. Unlike many shredders, Moore didn’t play fast just to show off — he played like he was bleeding through the guitar. His bends were insanely precise and his sustain was massive. Famous songs: Still Got The Blues Parisienne Walkways Empty Rooms The Collaboration 🤝 In 1990, Gary Moore recorded a blues album “Still Got The Blues.” He invited B.B. King to play with him on: “Since I Met You Baby” This performance became iconic because you can literally hear the contrast: B.B. King Gary Moore Smooth Fiery Calm Emotional explosion Few notes Many notes Storytelling Crying guitar And the crazy part? Gary Moore — one of the greatest guitarists alive — played more respectfully and restrained when B.B. King took a solo. You can actually hear him almost acting like a student listening to a master. Why guitarists love this pairing It perfectly demonstrates a core blues lesson: Blues isn’t about how many notes you play — it’s about how much feeling you put into one. Gary Moore even said B.B. King was one of his biggest influences and he never tried to outplay him — only honor him.
