WrestleMania XII proved that the Ultimate Warrior was back. Now it was time to find out where he fit into the New Generation. On April 8, 1996, Warrior made his first-ever appearance on Monday Night RAW, joining Vince McMahon in the ring for an interview just eight days after his return at WrestleMania. Vince asked where Warrior had been during his years away and, in classic Warrior fashion, the answer went somewhere considerably deeper than geography. Warrior explained that during his absence he had gone deep within his own mind - but the voices of his Warriors had never disappeared. They had called him back, and now he was prepared to meet whatever challenges this new generation of WWF Superstars could put in front of him. And right on cue, one of the strangest characters of that New Generation appeared. Goldust. Accompanied by Marlena, Goldust interrupted the interview and immediately began playing his trademark mind games with Warrior. If WWF wanted to demonstrate just how much things had changed while Warrior was away, this was certainly one way to do it. The colorful superhero-like powerhouse of WWF’s previous generation suddenly stood face-to-face with the bizarre, provocative and deliberately uncomfortable Goldust. Warrior wasn’t interested in playing along. The confrontation quickly became physical, with Warrior knocking Goldust down with a clothesline and sending the Intercontinental Champion retreating. And just like that, Warrior had his first real rivalry of his 1996 comeback. The two were now headed toward In Your House: Good Friends, Better Enemies on April 28, where Warrior would challenge Goldust for the Intercontinental Championship. But their story wouldn’t end there. Goldust would continue to cross paths with Warrior over the weeks ahead - eventually leading to a match that has a very important connection to the piece of memorabilia we’ll reveal this week!

😂😂😂😂😂 Hulk Hogan and Ultimate Warrior were never a long-term regular tag team, but their short alliance in 1990–91 was one of WWF's biggest “dream team” combinations. January 1990: After their confrontation at the Royal Rumble, Hogan and Warrior were forced to team together on Saturday Night’s Main Event against Mr. Perfect & The Genius. They won, but an accidental Warrior clothesline on Hogan immediately created tension. WrestleMania VI: Their relationship culminated in The Ultimate Challenge—Hogan, the WWF Champion, faced Warrior, the Intercontinental Champion, in a Title vs. Title match. Warrior won cleanly and became the first wrestler to simultaneously hold both championships. Later in 1990: Despite their WrestleMania rivalry, they were again presented as allies. At Survivor Series 1990, Hogan and Warrior were the final survivors of the Grand Finale Match of Survival. 1991: They reunited to battle Sgt. Slaughter, Colonel Mustafa and General Adnan, eventually teaming in the main event of SummerSlam 1991, where Hogan & Warrior defeated the trio in a handicap match. The appeal: it was essentially WWF putting its two biggest superstars of the era together—the established icon Hogan and his potential successor Warrior. Their chemistry wasn't based on being a traditional tag team; it was the spectacle of seeing Hulkamania + the Warrior's intensity on the same side. #wwe #memes #hulkhogan #ultimatewarrior

Go behind the curtain to February 1990 on WWF Superstars of Wrestling. The Intercontinental Champion, The Ultimate Warrior, delivered one of his most iconic, intense, and cosmic promos directly targeting Hulk Hogan. This televised rant fueled the legendary "Ultimate Challenge" storyline, building massive anticipation for their historic title-unification match at WrestleMania VI. Notice his signature yellow-strapped Intercontinental Championship belt—a rare custom detail that defines this peak era of his career. #ultimatewarrior #hulkhogan #wrestlemania #wwfsuperstars #classicwrestling

The ultimate warrior needed the ultimate Jeep 💪 So naturally, we introduced Sibusiso to Maximus. One brings the warrior spirit and the other brings six wheels, serious attitude and absolutely no interest in being ignored. A very South African kind of power move! There’s Jeep. Then there’s this. Challenge accepted. #Jeep6x6 #Maximus #JeepSouthAfrica #ChallengeAccepted #ImpiWarrior
