Why do we still see that as being incompetent?
One of the biggest things I’ve learned is that beautiful upstyles rarely happen on the first try. The best stylists adjust, tweak, pin, step back, and sometimes start over completely. That’s not failure it’s part of the creative process.
Stop chasing perfection on the first attempt. Focus on refining your technique instead. Every redo is teaching you something your next client will benefit from.
Give yourself permission to experiment, and remember no one sees the versions that didn’t make it to Instagram. ✨
